Trails and activities
A balancing act among the branches
On scorching sunny days or crisp autumn mornings, the holm oak and oak forest that is home to Il Tasso Scatenato is the perfect place to experience a thrill while connecting with nature. Everything happens in complete safety, thanks to certified PPE and the constant support of our instructors, who are always present but never intrusive.
Courses for children (from 1 to 1.40 m tall)
The little ones learn to “walk among the trees” like Tarzan, tackling suspension bridges, nets, and pulleys.
The courses have increasing difficulty levels to build confidence and encourage them to give it a try.
They are always watched over by parents, who can keep an eye on them from the ground.
Courses for adults and teens (1.40 m and taller)
Five courses designed for those seeking more intense thrills, including the legendary “Bandita” course, with a suspended zipline over 100 metres long and 15 metres high: a flight through the forest for those who want to push their limits.
You’ll travel from one end of the park to the other. Screaming is allowed—in fact, it’s encouraged!
Custom experiences for groups
Il Tasso Scatenato is also perfect for school trips, summer camps, stag parties, team building events, or simple outings with friends. You’ll find a small bar with snacks where you can set up themed parties (always by reservation), picnic tables, and a wonderfully cool atmosphere: on scorching summer days, it’s a truly precious escape.
You can also arrive by bike: if you do, you’ll get a discount on admission.
Insider tips
The instructors at Il Tasso recommend you call before your visit to make sure the local weather conditions are right for the adventure!
And of course, wear comfortable clothes and trainers: flip-flops aren’t exactly the best choice for walking among the trees.
E-biking and hiking to Cala Violina
You can choose to explore on foot or by e-bike. The trails of the Bandite wind through forests of strawberry trees, heather, and holm oaks, offering views that will stay with you forever. Along dirt trails and single tracks, you can reach the area’s most famous coves, like Cala Violina and Cala Martina: secluded gems reachable only on foot or by bike.
A dip here, where the water is bluer, is a must!

Friendship gives you the strength to embark on the most extraordinary adventures. Among friends, you understand each other, you support one another, and you find the courage to take the leap. And that’s exactly how the story of Il Tasso Scatenato began: four guys who grew up in Maremma with a passion for their local land and the great outdoors. Sometimes, you don’t have to go far to find your way.
Marco, Ettore, Innocenzo and Alessandro had a dream: to share the beauty of “their” forest with as many people as possible. Because friendship is, above all, a story of sharing.
Since then, every day, they have welcomed families and children with the same enthusiasm, to help everyone have fun in complete safety.
They have designed courses for all levels, they teach guests how to use the equipment independently, and they stay nearby to lend a hand or simply encourage the younger guests.

Children stay connected at all times thanks to the continuous lifeline system, a safety feature that keeps them secure from the beginning to the end of the course. So let them go wild—worry-free!

Marco and Ettore help you put on your harness. Alessandro and Innocenzo explain how to use the carabiners and pulleys. To have fun without risks, you have to learn the ropes first.
There are all kinds of adventurers here with you: there’s the “Screamer,” who lets it all out mid-air; the “Stoic,” who glides silently through the branches like a hawk; the “Hedgehog,” who takes the leap but with their eyes squeezed shut; and then there’s the “Timid One,” who just needs a word of encouragement to overcome their fears.
And you, how will you live this adventure? After the zipline and a few balancing acts, you can relax at the “Tasso di Frida”. The team at the snack point welcome you with a smile, and you order a focaccia because you’ve worked up a serious appetite. That’s what happens when you’re having a good time. How do you take it? Tomato and mozzarella, or mortadella, sliced thin?
Everyone has their role, but the mission is the same: to make sure you have a peaceful and carefree day.
With family, with friends, or maybe with your colleagues, the important thing is to allow yourself a few hours of fun.
“Seeing people leave happy is our greatest joy. Here, they let loose, they have fun thanks to our work, and that means the world to us. Sometimes you can no longer tell who the children are and who the adults are” – says Marco, with a smile in his eyes.
