An old-school campsite to experience Tuscany in all its authentic splendor
Blucamp Natural Village welcomes you to a 55,000 sqm, centuries-old olive grove that hugs the hillside with its terraces. From here, the view sweeps across to the sea of the Etruscan Coast, and the air is scented with wild herbs, broom flowers, and freedom.
At Blucamp, the philosophy of natural camping reigns supreme: there are no signs forbidding anything; instead, everything encourages respect and common sense. Every guest receives our full attention, much like in a boutique hotel, but here you are in direct contact with a nature, without unnecessary frills. When the environment that welcomes us is this wonderful, there’s no need for special effects.
You can choose your vacation style from these options.
- Pitches: Available as classic, panoramic, and comfort. Shaded spots under the olive trees, some equipped with a private bathroom and shower. Bring your own tent and enjoy the view. P.S.= the Blucamp team recommends calling us as soon as you book, so we can set aside the perfect-sized pitch for you.
- Studio Apartments: Affectionately called our “brick-built caravans,” these are small (14 sqm) but come fully equipped with a bed, table, kitchen, refrigerator, and a bathroom with a shower. Everything you need in a pocket-sized package, for those who want a roof over their heads on a budget.
- Wood Lodge: Wooden bungalows that accommodate up to 4 people. They feature a living room with a fully equipped kitchen, a master bedroom, a bathroom with a shower, and a small adjoining room with two pull-out single beds, perfect for kids or friends traveling together. Outside, a veranda with a table and chairs is the perfect spot for sharing meals outdoors or relaxing in the shade.
- Canvas Lodge: Large, spacious canvas tents with four beds. They come with all the necessary dining ware, but by design, they do not include a stove or pots. This ensures the space remains clean and free of cooking smells—a feature our guests truly appreciate.
- Private Cottage: A true 60 sqm gem with stone walls, a private garden, and air conditioning. It features a spacious living room, an equipped kitchenette, a master bedroom, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a veranda with a view stretching from Punta Ala to the Island of Elba and over to San Vincenzo.
Available to all guests is a small library for all ages, plus foosball and board games. No video games here: we’re all about good old-fashioned, eye-to-eye fun!

Whichever way you turn, you always see the sea—and the pool area is no exception. Can you imagine taking a dip while soaking in the beauty of the Tuscan archipelago? With the Maremma woods and olive groves all around, sun loungers for relaxing in the sun, and a foosball table for a challenge with friends!

Here at the campsite, there’s a taste for every moment.
Start your morning with warm cornetti and a cappuccino at the bar: a timeless classic.
For lunch, choose from our selection of fresh salads and hot dishes—perfect for a light break before your next adventure.
In the evening, the restaurant delights you with typical Tuscan meat and fish dishes and pizzas, also available for takeaway until 10:30 PM.

From Blucamp campsite, you can venture into the surrounding area on foot or by bike: discover a landscape of rocky trails and roads winding through forests, vineyards, sunflower fields, beaches, and medieval villages. From Campiglia Marittima to Bolgheri, where you can savor exquisite wines.
Strolls and Siestas in the Olive Grove
Inside the campsite, you’ll find an area dedicated to leisurely walks, perfect for a peaceful break among the olive trees. Feel like taking a break? Just spread a towel on the grass—you can always take a nap.
Hiking and Biking on the Etruscan Coast
Do you prefer hiking or mountain biking? At Blucamp, you don’t have to choose—you can live an active life your way! And if you don’t have a bike, no problem: you can rent one right here.
You can explore nearby medieval villages like Suvereto, Castagneto Carducci, and Populonia, or tackle the climbs leading to the San Silvestro Archaeo-Mineral Park. There are routes for every skill level, from gravel roads to more technical trails.
A gift for you: Our guests can access the Archaeo-Mineral Park at a special price, and we also have an agreement with their Skill Park: all our guests’ children get a free one-hour mountain bike trial—an activity loved by kids and parents alike.

We know, the campsite is up on a hill. But you can still head out without a worry. The ride down is easy. And if, on your way back after a long day of biking in the Tuscan hills, you’re too tired to make the final climb… we’ll come and pick you up! We won’t tell a soul…
Free Guided Tours of Campiglia Marittima
Twice a week, typically on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the campsite organizes free walking tours to discover Campiglia Marittima, located just 500 meters away, with a guide who will unveil the history and secrets of one of Italy’s most beautiful medieval villages.
Horseback Riding Experiences
Just 2 km away, a local riding stable offers treks through holm oak forests and clearings, allowing you to experience the Val di Cornia from a horseback perspective.
Sea, Spas, and Relaxation
After a day of exploring, take a dip in the crystal-clear waters of the beaches at Baratti, Torre Mozza, and San Vincenzo. Alternatively, unwind at the nearby Terme di Venturina (thermal baths), where you can soak in the 36°C thermal lake or enjoy a massage at the spa.

40 Years of History
A Dream Born from a Love for Tuscany
Blucamp was founded 40 years ago by Maurizio and Luciano, two Florentines who fell in love with this land and decided to create a campsite of their own: it was the very first tourist accommodation in Campiglia Marittima.
Today, it’s run by Giuseppe, the manager, who prefers to stay behind the scenes rather than in the spotlight. “I’m not someone who likes to be the center of attention,” he says with a smile, “I’d rather tell you about my staff—they are the true heart of this place.”
Alongside him is Naima, our reservations manager, the face and voice of the campsite. For years, she has been welcoming travelers with patience and kindness, supported by Eva, our invaluable collaborator during the summer season. Meanwhile, every space is kept tidy, clean, and fresh thanks to the expert hands of Rosella.
And then there’s our maintenance team: tireless, discreet, always with their hands in the soil or tending to the olive trees. Every day, thanks to their hard work, Blucamp becomes more beautiful and welcoming.
“We don’t aim for profit for its own sake,” concludes Giuseppe. “We believe that every euro earned must be reinvested to improve our facilities, the quality of the vacation experience, and the well-being of our guests and our team. That is our true wealth.”
