Residence Mareblù Aparthotel is a family-run accommodation surrounded by greenery, located just 500 metres from the beautiful, unspoilt Spiaggia delle Capanne.
Directly behind is the expansive Maremma Nature Park, famous for its wide-open landscapes, coastal wetlands, and iconic Maremma horses.

Activities at Sea
- Windsurfing, kitesurfing, SUP, and diving. Just a short distance away is an outstanding sailing centre founded by Olympic champion Alessandra Sensini. Here guests can enjoy various water sports, lessons, and “watercamps”, a summer camp designed for children aged 6 to 10.
Activities in the Pine Forest
- Yoga, forest bathing (green therapy proven to improve mood and reduce anxiety), and fitwalking, the metabolic walking method practiced at and around the aparthotel with qualified instructors.
Activities in Protected Areas
- Hiking along trails in the Maremma Nature Park, the protected area of Le Bandite di Scarlino, or the scenic Sentieri Castiglionesi (all reachable by car within 20 minutes).
- Guided bike tours in the Diaccia Botrona and WWF San Felice nature reserves, departing directly from the property or by arranging to rent bikes at the meeting point. Each tour lasts about two hours and is suitable for families with children.

A story of family and vision. Residence Mareblù was built in 1982 by Lucia’s father, thanks to his intuition.
“My father immediately saw the potential of Principina a Mare, an emerging destination at the heart of the Maremma pine forest,” Lucia explains. “We’ve proudly carried forward the tradition started by my parents, with a strong focus on sustainability and inclusivity. Mareblù isn’t just our workplace—it’s our home and family. We live here together with our guests, children, and pets, sharing stories, recommendations, and the hidden gems of our beautiful area.”
