Accommodations and Services

A home, a safe haven, a refuge in the woods where you'll feel right where you belong

The farm stay is a traditional Tuscan farmhouse with exposed stone walls, restored in full respect of its original architecture.

A gentle wind always blows here, a breeze that drifts down from the mountains and caresses your face as you walk on the lawn or relax in the shade of the oak trees.

It’s an air that lightens your thoughts, smells of wildflowers and clean laundry, cools the summer days, and brings with it that feeling of freedom you’ve been searching for.

You can explore the area on foot or by bike, after a delicious breakfast of homemade cakes and tarts.

Rooms and suites

You can choose from 7 different rooms, each with its own rustic, elegant style. All come with a private bathroom, cotton towels, and a sustainable courtesy set: here you won’t find single-use samples because they create too much waste. We use reusable dispensers for shampoo, body wash, and soap to minimize our environmental impact.

  • Deluxe: Two spacious rooms, Il Vermentino and La Mangiatoia, with wooden floors and stone walls. One has direct access to the garden, while the other preserves the farm’s old animal manger.
  • Superior: Two intimate and refined rooms: L’Elba looks out towards the blue island on the horizon, while Il Focolare welcomes you with wooden beams and a view of the olive grove.
  • Standard: Two cozy rooms: Montioni overlooks the pool and Montioni Park; Lo Scrigno, more secluded, enfolds its beauty in wood and natural fabrics.
  • Small: La Piccinaccola, essential and charming, perfect for those traveling light or for couples who don’t need large spaces.

All accommodations are equipped with a minibar, TV, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning.

The Pool, an Ocean Feel

Nestled among the oaks and holm oaks of the park, the pool offers relief on hot days, with its saltwater hugging your skin like a mineral caress.

By the pool, you’ll find sunbeds, towels, and umbrellas, perfect for reading, relaxing, or enjoying an aperitif at sunset.

When the sun sets the sky ablaze and the evening shadows fall upon the grass, you can sit on the lawn and let your thoughts drift away.

Restaurant and Breakfasts

The on-site bistro offers guests simple dishes made with local ingredients. You can choose between a classic or vegetarian menu, with everything homemade, from desserts to fresh fruit jams.

Breakfast on the lawn, light lunches, aperitifs, and dinners that tell the story of Tuscany with every course.

The excellent wines on offer are, of course, from the local area, masterfully recommended by the farm stay’s staff. Did you know there’s a famous winery to visit (with tastings) just a 5-minute drive away?

Activities and Experiences

Move your body, awaken your soul in the Montioni Natural Park

Here you can walk among century-old oaks, do yoga on the lawn at dawn, or cycle through lush vineyards. Every activity starts from the farm stay, and you can count on our staff for tailored advice and custom routes, depending on your fitness level and the time you have available.

Nature Trail in Montioni Park

A 2.6 km loop trail encircles the farm stay, ideal for walking or running in nature. Further on, the Montioni Natural Park opens up its historic paths among alum quarries, medieval ruins, and the remains of the ancient mining village commissioned by Elisa Bonaparte, Napoleon’s sister.

Yoga and Fitness

On the upper lawn of the farm stay, with a panorama that stretches to the sea, you can roll out your mat for a silent practice or join the yoga and fitness events organized with local instructors.

Horseback Riding

Just minutes from the farm stay, the nearby stable organizes rides through the hills, trails, and clearings where the horses breathe freely and you can experience a different way of exploring the area.

Bike Excursions

You can rent e-bikes and set off to discover nearby villages, like Suvereto and Bolgheri, or pedal to the coast along the Viale dei Cipressi (Cypress Avenue) towards Marina di Bibbona.

Forest Bathing

Do you know what it feels like to hug a tree? Close your eyes, and if you press your ear to the great oak that watches over Belvento, you can almost hear its heart beating. Your breath becomes calmer, and everything finally flows as it should.

Silvotherapy, or forest bathing, is an effective practice for relaxing and reconnecting with yourself. You can try it freely at any time of day you prefer.

Parties and Events

Joyful gatherings in a private space

The Poggio Belvento farm stay in Suvereto is also the perfect place to celebrate important moments: weddings, corporate dinners, birthday parties, or seasonal events like the summer solstice.

Here, people can meet, celebrate, and feel at ease, always in harmony with the environment and the tranquility that defines the property.

The farm stay hosts evenings with live music or special themed gatherings, where everyone feels welcomed and pampered.

The lawn becomes the natural stage for events that leave a lasting impression—colorful postcards that you’ll love to look back on over time.

Our Story and People

The Call of the Wind

“It all started with a dream. We used to come on holiday in Tuscany with our daughters when they were little, and every time, we felt this land was calling to us,” says Laura, the farm stay’s invaluable jack-of-all-trades and owner.

“I still remember the feeling of standing before the farmhouse for the first time, completely immersed in wild nature. There was practically nothing there, just the building and the woods all around, but there was this powerful feeling of peace, and a constant, pleasant, and refreshing breeze that accompanied us.

It was in that exact moment that we knew the name ‘Poggio Belvento’ was perfect: the ever-present wind, gentle in summer, more intense in winter, somehow also reveals our story and the journey we’ve taken to get here.”

Laura, with the support of her daughters Marzia and Carolina and the entire Poggio Belvento Team, has transformed that old farmhouse into an enchanted place: a team that makes the magic of hospitality possible every day. A kind of magic that lets you experience this place through the same loving eyes as those who created it.

P.S. = Among those watching over Poggio Belvento is Mila, the family’s German Shepherd. You’ll meet her exploring the lawn or resting in the shade of the oak tree: she is the gentlest dog you’ll ever meet. She is the true guardian of the farm stay, attentive and protective of those she loves. For this reason, other four-legged friends are not allowed: this way, Mila remains calm, and you can enjoy the peace and quiet that are at home here.
