The martial art for everyone in Suvereto
Tai Chi Chuan originated in ancient China. Although it derives from martial arts, its fluid and slow movements resemble meditation in motion more than combat techniques.
It is proven that this discipline has many beneficial effects and is recommended for:
- strengthening posture
- enhancing bone strength in older adults
- improving balance and stability
- addressing severe issues like attention disorders, multiple sclerosis, or depression
In short, Tai Chi Chuan is the perfect ally for everyone, from children to the elderly, to significantly optimize their physical and mental well-being, even while enjoying a holiday by the sea in Tuscany.
The Tai Chi Chuan on Holiday
with Simona Baldi
“Tai Chi Chuan reactivates our vital energy, generally dormant due to the frenzy of daily life, providing numerous benefits to both the mind and the organs of our body,” explains Simona, a passionate Tai Chi Chuan instructor who teaches in Suvereto, outdoors or in the municipal gym, and has always attended the Tai Chi Chuan school in Piombino, where she trained.
For those who choose to stay at the Monolocale di Meo, a rental house offered directly by Simona in località Prata, it will be possible to practice this discipline with her comfortably in the house garden, described by Simona as “a nest where you can regenerate.” The Monolocale di Meo is perfect for those seeking peace and tranquility in a green oasis.
A chat with Simona: Tai Chi Chuan, love at first sight
“When we find ourselves in a moment of deep crisis, we turn to something, even something unknown, to make us feel better: this happened to me in 1998,” Simona told us when we asked how she discovered the world of Tai Chi Chuan: “by chance, I saw a poster in a shop that said ‘Tai Chi Chuan Lessons’; I knew nothing about this practice, but at that moment I felt it could help me.” From that moment on, Simona never abandoned this discipline. After attending lessons for over 20 years, she decided to become a teacher herself.
“Tai Chi Chuan taught me to think exclusively about the present, to deeply experience every emotion, to listen to myself more, and to live a more conscious life,” explains Simona, confirming that the discipline significantly enhances the physical and mental well-being of those who practice it, and she continues: “in my lessons, I try to convey exactly this, the awareness of what we are experiencing in the present moment, counteracting the frenzy we are used to living in daily life.”
If you really want to disconnect during your holidays in Val di Cornia and enter a world of peace and well-being, contact her immediately, Simona Baldi is waiting for you at the next lesson!
