TNT Surf School - Water Sports for everyone
The TNT Surf School was founded in 2013 in San Vincenzo by Marco and Michele Zucconi, sea enthusiasts. For several years, they have been sharing their passion in Baratti, Piombino, teaching various water sports to children and adults. The individual or group lessons and equipment for beginners or experts allow everyone to enjoy this experience in a unique natural setting.
Surfing, SUP, Windsurfing, and Wingfoil are the sports offered by the school. Each has specific characteristics that take advantage of different sea and wind conditions, allowing you to enjoy what nature offers every day. TNT’s sports are the perfect way to discover and experience the crystal-clear sea of this stretch of the Etruscan Coast through a deep connection, full of passion and respect for the marine environment.
TNT Surf School also organizes summer camps for children and teenagers, teaching them to connect with nature, the wind, and the sea.

Thanks to certified ACSI instructors, the ASD TNT Surf School offers customizable Surf, SUP, Windsurf, and WingFoil courses and lessons based on age and experience level.
First time with water sports and not sure which to choose?
Not all wind and sea conditions are ideal for board sports, especially if it’s your first time and you want to learn. Here’s a brief overview of their differences:
- Surfing: Suitable for those in good physical condition and seeking an exciting experience. Best when the waves are well-formed. Instructors will teach how to read the sea, paddle, and stand on the board, maintaining balance and riding the waves.
- Stand Up Paddling or SUP: Perfect for all ages, ideal for those looking for a relaxing and less physically demanding activity. Practiced on calm days, enjoying the beauty of the Val di Cornia coast from a different perspective, gently rocked by the water’s movement.
- Windsurfing: Great for beginners, best when there’s a bit of wind but no big waves. Instructors will explain how to balance on the board, lift the sail, and perform basic maneuvers, progressing to stronger wind conditions for a fun and adrenaline-filled experience.
- WingFoil: Recommended for those with windsurfing experience seeking a new challenge. The sail is detached from the board and equipped with a foil, allowing the rider to glide over the water.
Water sports lessons are preceded by theoretical notions: on the beach, instructors will explain the movements to perform on the board and will be ready to answer any questions.
When students learn Windsurfing or Wingfoil, instructors follow them with a dinghy and are connected via earpieces for safe practice and to be available for questions or feedback.
Baratti Summer Camp for children and teenagers
The summer camps held by the sea and in the pine forest of Baratti are aimed at children and teenagers aged 6 to 13.
With two schedule options, 09:00 – 13:00 or 09:00 – 15:00, the summer camps offer young people the chance to discover the Gulf of Baratti. How?
